Senior Rehabilitation and Falls Prevention

As we all age our ability can sometimes reduce and things can become harder.

My comprehensive assessment will review your physical ability, looking into your strength, walking and balance. I can help provide walking aid advice and a detailed falls assessment and treatment programme.

Neuro Physiotherapy

It has been evidenced that Physiotherapy is essential for the acute and long-term management of Stroke, M.S and Parkinson’s.

Following a thorough assessment, working together we will create a tailored rehabilitation program to help maximise your strength, flexibility and mobility to help you live the most independent and active life you are able.

Post Hospital Stay

I can work with you to ensure you are following the correct exercise regime and can advise on exercise and functional progression.

The correct rehabilitation is essential in your recovery helping you get back to the life you need to lead as soon as possible.

Arthritis

Joint problems and arthritic issues may limit your ability to lead the life you wish.

I can help you with putting strategies in place to help make daily life easier, maintain movement in your joints and strengthen muscles.

For your initial assessment it would be helpful if you could have a list of your medications and any recent hospital appointment letters or discharge letters available. Following a thorough assessment we will then jointly decide on any interventions you may want assistance and guidance with.

Initial Assessment: £ 90

Follow-Up Visits: £ 67.50

Cancellation Policy

Please note that we operate a cancellation policy

If you need to cancel with more than 48 hours notice of your appointment there will be no charge

If you cancel 48-24 hours notice you will be charged 50% of the appointment fee

If you give less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation you must pay the full fee

We encourage you to phone 0772 333 0789 to cancel a visit with as much notice as possible.

Vicky Paynter BSc (Hons.) MCSP HCPC

Vicky has over 20 years experience as a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with The Health & Care Professions Council.

She has worked both in Acute Hospitals and the Community setting with a wide variety of patient groups- Neurology, Elderly, Orthopaedics and Fallers to name a few.

She believes strongly in continued professional development to ensure the best and most effective treatments for her patients. She holds membership to AGILE and ACPIN; Professional Networks of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy for Physiotherapists working with Older People and people with Neurological conditions respectively.
